These guys go the extra mile, literally. Was so touched by their help, patience, professionalism and generosity today when I called in without notice to seek a second opinion on some repairs during a major service with another mechanic elsewhere. Not only did Jarryd give the car a thorough once over (and even a road test), but then explained everything simply to me. As I drove away feeling calm and reassured (in stark contrast to how I'd arrived), I spotted a little white frangpani flower waving at me from the air vent. A little extra act of kindness that brought tears to my eyes after a difficult week (and year). The workshop is spotless, the waiting room welcoming and the boys clearly pride themselves on going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I now have peace of mind and trust that my car is safe to drive away on a long road trip after Christmas. THANK YOU so much, Todd and Jarryd and team. Browns wrongly diagnosed the problem, said drop it in and we'll check it out, went ahead without authorisation, charging more than $1900 of unnecessary repairs by replacing timing belts that had only been done not long before...AND the original cost of the very same work was less than half Brown's inflated invoice ($844.70)...the presenting problem was simply fixed for less than $100, elsewhere of course
Absolutely fantastic. After getting my car serviced at the dealership from which I purchased for the last couple of years and paying an arm and a leg for the privilege, I wasn't pleasantly surprised with the extra mile Browns go to at a much more reasonable price. From stepping you through exactly what you are paying for to cleaning the car inside and out, these guys are a professional outfit. You won't be disappointed.
