Had Combo Chow Mein and steamed rice. When did Chinese restaurants stop using soft noodles as the normal noodle for Chow Mein (fried noodles don't cut it).Ingredients were tasty, fresh and not overcooked. There was not enough sauce. The steamed rice was hard and chewy much like a fried rice. Will try again as I would prefer a local haunt for my Asian food fix.
Awesome food and real king prawns fresh
As out-of-towners, passing through the area, we googled 'take away food in Nambour'. After reading the google reviews of Silver Phoenix, we decided to try this Chinese restaurant.Without out a shadow of a doubt THE BEST Chinese we have eaten in years. The dims sims, freshly made and cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, full of flavour on the inside.Curry combination and garlic combination, so full of flavours and beautiful fresh vegies... and the meats.... so tender and plenty of them.And the special rice, oh wow, packed full of meats and prawns and truly the BEST RICE!Thank you so much Silver Phoenix, for restoring our faith in Chinese takeaway.
Best Chinese food I have ever tasted. We get take away at least fortnightly and always the same amazing standard.
We just love Silver Phoenix...have been going there regularly for years...not fancy...just good quality wholesome beautifully cooked food. The staff are very friendly...and the chef and off siders are the best. Great value for money too ...it's BYO so helps keeps costs down for us!
