Take a walk to the waterfall, it is definitely worth it.
Right in the heart of Nambour with a park area with great play area for kids and a covered barbeque area and new clean amenities block at the park with disabled toilet. There is a great walking circuit that goes all the way from the top of the falls down to the bottom and back to the park.
The park is nice with thick green grass, a decent playground, and nearby amenities. The real highlight is the approximately 3km walking track that loops through the forest and waterfall. Go along just after rain for best results. Car parking is along Waterfall Road. Walking track is unsealed and has stairs and rocks.
