Heard rave reviews about the bakehouse. However my experience there was less then disappointing. Lady behind the counter spent most of her time glaring at me, coffee was burnt and food wasnt great.
Coffee great. Food delicious. Service mostly good. The only negative is that with their increasing popularity its becoming really difficult to find a seat sometimes.
My first time there and my last. I had a baby asleep in stroller no seats available except for one in the small alcove on the side.. one table in the first corner where there was two trolleys in there. As i tried to manover the stroller out of the the an assistant came through with a coffee fir someone and glared at me and said well great now no-one can get in or out.. i felt like telling her to refund me and shove my meal where it fitted, giving her the benifit of the doubt i waited for my lunch.. it was abruptly put on the table.. i said thankyou and was given another glare. The trolleys blocking the way had very little in them and should not have been in there... i had a very small human. Extremely Poor Service.
Just a little old-fashioned in everything including prices. I intend visiting again.
Coffee and strudel this morning at The German Bakehouse, Nambour. Great service and excellent coffee and pastries. Strongly recommended. Will come again.
